Our Mission
The Colorado Green Building Guild is a non-profit trade organization representing a wide range of green building leaders, and serving the community at large by making green building common practice and accessible to all. CGBG strives to ensure the widespread adoption of sustainable practices to increase the efficient use of resources, create healthier buildings, and support vibrant, sustainable communities throughout all of Colorado!
CGBG is a small organization run by volunteers, but through the support of the community have been able to leverage time, skill, and donation assistance toward efforts in the recovery and rebuilding of communities impacted by the Marshall Fire.
Throughout events and collaborations since the Marshall Fire destroyed over 1,000 homes in the Louisville and Superior communities, CGBG has gathered assistance resources.
The CGBG Advanced Training Scholarship Program was designed to incentivize advanced training across the building industry in Colorado.
This is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization made up of Builders, Architects, Designers, Real Estate Agents, Finance Agencies and people who just want to see the growth of the green building industry in Colorado. Join the Guild and help bring green building to the forefront of the community.
Being a member offers the chance to connect with like-minded people in the industry, both personally and professionally, at social events and through our online directory.
