Committees are the life blood of how we get things done at CGBG. These are the folks who are work hard to make the impact that CGBG is proud of! Want to give your time to CGBG, but don’t want to join the board? There is a committee with a spot for you.

 

Digital Management

The digital management committee manages our social media presence, the website, promoting our events, organizing our photos and helping with our newsletter. We have a monthly working meeting where you can join in-person or online to help us prep for the next months happenings and make sure our online presence is up to snuff. Do you have skills with coding, graphic design, advertising or another communications field? Join us!

 

Advocacy and Policy

The current goal of the advocacy and policy committee is to add “Energy Dollars Per Year” to the MLS listing for homes in Colorado. Are you interested in promoting green building through governmental and municipal channels? The Advocacy and Policy Committee meets once a month or more to online to advance our goals. Join us!

 

Scholarship

The scholarship committee meets once a month or every other month to review and approve applications for our Advanced Training Scholarship. Committee members should expect to commit to a year of meetings to provide continuity to the committee and will not be able to apply for the scholarship during that time. Join us!

 

Education and Events

The Education Committee is there to plan hard hat tours, workshops, webinars, and other fun and informative events throughout the year. There is usually around one online meeting a month, with the opportunity to champion your own educational event around a topic that inspires you. Join us!

 

Annual Events (Green Home Tour)

Our annual events committee works on the membership appreciation barbeque, the holiday part and our flagship event, Green Home Tour. Meetings for the annual events ramp up during the summer and early fall with a meeting every week to help plan Green Home Tour. There’s tons of skills that would be helpful to planning these events and the more hands, the better. Join us!
